very glad that you found some time for this short interview that can introduce our visitors to
the Blog and Ping technique that has proved to get very interesting results.

Willie Crawford- It's my pleasure. I enjoy blogging and telling others about it.


Q- Let's start asking you when did you start with blogs?

As an experienced online businessman you develop and own your own professional websites.

What did make you open your page on one of these free services like Blogger.com as many
newbies and amateurs do?

A- I started several blogs at Blogger.com because Blogger.com is owned by Google.com.

Google was indexing pages hosted at their service faster at the time. 
They seem to have slowed down now.

Another benefit is that you can select to have your blog included in their database and then
when people are just randomly surfing from blog to blog, you get some traffic that way too.


Q- And could you explain shortly how these free online blogs can be integrated with your own
business websites?

We know of many classic options to gain exposure for our business oriented websites as
optimising for search engines and submitting to online directories, or releasing articles to be
published in ezines or sites related to the topic we write about, what is the difference with the
new Blog and Ping technique?


A- Blogging and pinging is mainly letting the blog directories know whenever you've updated
your blog.

If you update your blog often and notify the blog directories and search engines, they soon
become conditioned to come back and spider your blog more often.

When they spider your blog, they also follow any links on your blog.
So if you have a new site or blog you want to get indexed, you can often just add links on your
blog pointing to your target sites.


Q- Can I ask you to show to our readers some examples of successful use of the Blog and Ping
technique that made you earn money?

A- One of my very profitable blogs is at

I point this one out because I also wrote about it in a article where I was making about $2400
per month from this blog.

Q- May you tell us which is in your opinion the best way to make money with blogs?

AdSense ads seem very popular amongst bloggers. Is it the best way to go or maybe adding
links or reviews to services and products that pay affiliate commissions is a better choice?


A- On my blogs I use Google AdSense, links to affiliate products and lead capture forms.
Over a few weeks, I track which is making me the most money. 
If something isn't working, I take it off the site... I test and track everything.

On many of my blogs, Google AdSense is making me the most money!


Q- Our site provides a very interesting package with several Blog and Ping guides that explain

that have to be accomplished, can you suggest some mistakes that must be avoided when a
beginner starts using this technique?


A- After getting the site noticed, I'd caution against blogging and pinging too often. If you do
it too much it appears "un-natural" to the search engines, and they may penalize you for this


Q- On the net there are services and softwares that automate the Blog and Ping process as the
